Rochester events happen during most months in a year. Rochester events start off in January with the Martin Luther King Day celebrations for two weeks. February in Rochester is the celebration of Black history and sporting events dances and contests are held through the month. Rochester events in March include dances sporting events and a martial arts festival.
April is the month when The Redwing Baseball team begins playoffs and egg hunts are organized for Easter in Rochester. Rochester is the host of the High Falls film festival and the lilac festival in Rochester's famous highland park in May. Rochester residents enjoy the good weather in June and visitors can share the lazer and light festival the food festival and the jazz concerts that take place in Rochester.
